Henan BEBON international co.,ltd located in zhengzhou ,henan province of china. Since it was established in 2008, Henan BEBON has earned an outstanding reputation for its professional exporting shipbuilding steel.About the products,we mainly specialized in steel products for shipbuilding which have been approved by some authoritative classification societies, likeLR,BV,ABS,DNV,GL and so on . Besides, we have three big warehouses--Zhengzhou,Tianjin and shanghai.
The chemical composition of 04L stainless steel is roughly as follows:
Carbon (C): ≤0.030%
Silicon (Si): ≤1.00%
Manganese (Mn): ≤2.00%
Phosphorus (P): ≤0.045%
Sulfur (S): ≤0.030%
Nickel (Ni): 8.00~12.00%
Chromium (Cr): 18.00~20.00%
The main features of Cr19Ni10 grade 304L stainless steel are as follows:
Low carbon content: The carbon content of 304L stainless steel is low, which reduces the precipitation of carbides in the heat-affected zone close to the weld, thereby reducing the intergranular corrosion (welding erosion) that may be caused by carbide precipitation. This characteristic makes 304L stainless steel excellent in intergranular corrosion resistance, especially suitable for occasions requiring welding.
Good corrosion resistance: Due to the content of 18.00~20.00% chromium and 8.00~12.00% nickel, 304L stainless steel has excellent corrosion resistance and can remain stable in a variety of environments.
Excellent mechanical properties: The tensile strength of 304L stainless steel is not less than 480MPa, the yield strength is not less than 177MPa, the elongation is not less than 40%, and the section shrinkage is not less than 60%. Its hardness is also controlled within a certain range, with HB not exceeding 187, HRB not exceeding 90, and HV not exceeding 200. These mechanical properties ensure that 304L stainless steel can maintain stable performance in various application scenarios.
Welding advantages: Due to the low carbon characteristics, 304L stainless steel does not require heat treatment after welding, which gives it great advantages when manufacturing various welded parts.
Wide range of applications: 304L stainless steel is mainly used to manufacture equipment that does not undergo heat treatment after welding in the chemical, petrochemical, petroleum, fertilizer, power and other industries, coal bunker linings, liquid condensation, tomato paste storage tanks, pipes, containers and various Parts, etc.
To sum up, Cr19Ni10 grade 304L stainless steel is favored for its low carbon content, good corrosion resistance and mechanical properties, welding advantages, and wide range of applications.
