NK DH36 steel for a wide range of uses

NK DH36 is a high-strength structural steel for hull, where D represents mass grade D, H represents high-strength building materials, and 36 represents its maximum compressive strength. This steel is widely used in shipbuilding, Marine engineering and other fields, because of its excellent strength, toughness, welding properties and corrosion resistance, in ensuring the safety and stability of the relevant structure plays an important role.

Chemical composition of NK DH36:

 

Carbon (C) content: ≤0.18

 

Silicon (Si) content: ≤0.50

 

Manganese (Mn) content: 0.90-1.60

 

Phosphorus (P) content: <0.025

 

Sulfur content: <0.025

 

Copper (Cu) content: ≤0.35

 

Chromium (Cr) content: ≤0.20

 

Nickel content: ≤0.40

 

Niobium (Nb) content: 0.02-0.05

 

Vanadium (V) content: 0.05-0.10

 

Titanium (Ti) content: <0.02

 

Molybdenum (Mo) content: ≤0.08

 

Aluminum (ALS) content: ≥0.015
