Q235NH steel plate is a steel grade in China's national standard GB/T 700. The "Q" stands for yield strength, the number "235" indicates that this steel has a yield strength of 235 mpa, and "NH" stands for weather resistance.
Q235NH steel plate features:
Good plasticity, toughness and weldability: Q235NH steel plate has these basic steel properties that make it excellent in a variety of applications.
Certain mechanical strength: Although it is low carbon steel, Q235NH steel plate still has a certain mechanical strength to meet many engineering needs.
Corrosion resistance: Q235NH steel plate has excellent weather resistance and can maintain long-term stability in harsh environments such as wet and rainy.
The chemical composition of Q235NH steel plate: mainly contains C (carbon), Mn (manganese), Si (silicon), S (sulfur), P (phosphorus), Cu (copper) and other elements, of which the amount of copper added between 0.25% and 0.55% to improve its weather resistance.
The yield strength of Q235NH steel plate is 235MPa (when the thickness is less than or equal to 16mm), the tensile strength is between 360 and 510MPa, and the elongation varies according to the thickness, but it is generally between 23% and 25%. These properties are in line with national standards, and steel plates with different mechanical properties can be selected according to different use requirements.
