Spherical flat steel AH32 is a kind of high-performance Marine and ocean engineering steel, mainly used in the manufacture of ocean, coastal and inland shipping ships hull, deck and other key parts. The "AH" in its name stands for high strength characteristics, and the "32" represents its yield strength class, that is, steel will not begin to plastic deformation until it is subjected to a pressure of 320 mpa per square millimeter. This kind of steel is a high-strength, low-alloy steel with excellent mechanical properties and a wide range of applications.

Mechanical properties of AH32 spherical flat steel

Yield strength: not less than 315MPa (according to the latest standards), can withstand large loads without plastic deformation, to ensure the stability and safety of ships and Marine engineering structures under the action of complex external forces.

Tensile strength: between 440MPa and 570MPa, reflecting the ability of the material to resist fracture. The high tensile strength of the AH32 steel plate allows it to maintain sufficient strength during the stretching process to prevent breakage and failure.

Elongation: not less than 22%, indicating that the material has a good plastic deformation ability after tensile fracture, improve the safety of the structure.

Low temperature impact work: not less than 31J (the specific value may vary depending on the test conditions), in the low temperature environment still maintains good impact toughness, can effectively prevent brittle fracture.

In addition, AH32 steel plate also has good toughness, wear resistance, fatigue resistance, corrosion resistance, impact resistance and shock resistance, as well as excellent welding properties and processing and forming properties.
