The application range of S355J0W steel

S355J0W steel is a steel plate material with excellent weather resistance, which is made by adding a certain amount of alloying elements (such as P, Cu, Cr, Ni, Mo, etc.) to ordinary steel to improve its corrosion resistance.

S355J0W steel features:

Weather resistance: The atmospheric corrosion resistance of S355J0W is 2-8 times that of ordinary carbon steel, and the longer the time, the more obvious the corrosion resistance effect.

Excellent performance: In addition to weather resistance, it also has the characteristics of strength, plastic extension, molding, welding and cutting, abrasion, high temperature and fatigue resistance of high-quality steel.

Coating property: Its coating property is 1.5-10 times that of ordinary carbon steel.

Rust resistance: It has the characteristics of rust resistance, which makes the component corrosion-resistant and life-prolonging, thinning and consumption reduction, labor saving and energy saving.

The chemical composition of S355J0W steel plate includes carbon C, silicon Si, manganese Mn, phosphorus P, sulfur S, chromium Cr, nickel Ni, copper Cu, molybdenum Mo and other elements. Among them, the content of each element has certain restrictions, such as carbon content should be less than or equal to 0.16%, silicon content should be less than or equal to 0.5%, manganese content should be 0.5-1.5%, phosphorus and sulfur content should be less than or equal to 0.010%.

S355J0W steel plates are delivered in hot rolled, normalized or normalized rolling condition.
