Henan BEBON international co.,ltd located in zhengzhou ,henan province of china. Since it was established in 2008, Henan BEBON has earned an outstanding reputation for its professional exporting shipbuilding steel.About the products,we mainly specialized in steel products for shipbuilding which have been approved by some authoritative classification societies, likeLR,BV,ABS,DNV,GL and so on . Besides, we have three big warehouses--Zhengzhou,Tianjin and shanghai.
16Mo3 is a low-alloy high-strength steel, belonging to the EN10028-2 standard for pressure vessel steel, known for its excellent high temperature and corrosion resistance. Its main features include good welding performance, stable mechanical strength at high temperatures and oxidation resistance, suitable for operating environments up to 500 ° C. Thanks to the addition of chromium (Cr) and molybdenum (Mo), 16Mo3 performs well under harsh conditions and is widely used in the manufacture of industrial boilers and pressure vessels.
The chemical composition of 16Mo3 includes carbon (C≤0.12-0.20%), silicon (Si≤0.35%), manganese (Mn 0.40-0.90%), phosphorus (P≤0.025%), sulfur (S≤0.010%), chromium (Cr 0.30-0.70%), molybdenum (Mo 0.25-0.35%) and so on. These elements ensure high temperature strength and corrosion resistance while maintaining a low impurity content to enhance toughness.
In terms of size, 16Mo3 can be made into steel plates, steel pipes and other forms. The thickness of the steel plate usually ranges from a few millimeters to hundreds of millimeters, and the specific specifications can be customized according to demand, which is suitable for the processing of different structural parts. The delivery state is generally normalizing or normalizing and tempering state, normalizing treatment can optimize the grain structure, improve the uniformity and durability of the steel.
16Mo3 is used in the oil, gas and chemical industries to make industrial boilers, pressure vessels, heat exchangers and high-temperature pipelines. In addition, it is widely used in power generation equipment such as turbines and high-temperature steam pipelines. Its heat resistance and cost effectiveness make it an indispensable material in high temperature environments, especially suitable for engineering projects requiring long-term stable operation.
